Manager's Blog 5th July

This past week has absolutely flown by! The children have had lots of fun this week as we have been doing learning all about Summer and we are certainly all learning a thing or two about changing summer weather! Some of our activities have included seaside summer tuff trays, sand and water exploration, seaside colouring sheets, summer themed play dough and dancing games.

The children have been really engaged in their role play this week and we have had farm set tuff trays, dinosaur worlds, cafes, doctors and even a holiday house!

We only have two weeks left before the Summer holidays and we will be more summer themed activities as well as following the children's lead on their play choices and interests. We will now be starting to gather all the children's art work, home items and any others nits ready to go home for the holidays.

Our Preschool Graduation is this coming Friday 12th July. This now coincides with the rescheduled school sports day. I have put timings below to help you plan for your day if you have a child/children to watch for sports day in the afternoon. If you want to attend just for the ceremony then go to the school filed that is no problem.

1.30pm - Preschool graduation starts, families arrive

1.40pm - graduation ceremony, individual gifts and leavers poem reading

(This is likely to take around 15-20minutes, depending on how it goes?)

After the ceremony, we will have free play activities in the garden as well as some treats for everyone. There will also be an area for taking photos of your child.  I hope this helps.
