Our meetings are a great opportunity to share exciting ideas for activities or events that the children would like to to take place. Children also have projects that they work on throughout the year, showing true empowerment at its best.
What do we do?
Members of the Council take part in discussions and votes and feed back any relevant information to their classes. At times they are requested to ask their class for ideas or take class votes relating to discussions by the Council. Members meet regularly with Mrs Howard and share their progress in assembly.
What have we done so far?
We have organised special event fundraising days such as Children in Need, have planned and made improvements to how we use our school and playground and we have created a new code of conduct for learning in and out of school. We regularly take part in interviewing new staff, our lunch provider area manager and present to Governors.
